"Dog Days of Summer!" The term relates to the very hot days between July 3rd and August 11th. It is the period in which the Dog Star, Sirius,
rises in conjunction with the sun. The term "Dog Days" was used by the Greeks as well as the ancient Romans (who
called these days caniculares dies (days of the dogs)) after Sirius, the "Dog Star", which is the brightest star
in the heavens besides the Sun. It was popularly believed to
be an evil time "when the seas boiled, wine turned sour, dogs grew mad, and all creatures became languid, causing to
man burning fevers, hysterics, and phrensies" - Brady's Clavis Calendarium, 1813 What does FIDO know that you do not? FIDO KNOWS any time of the year is fine with him. Just give him a big pond to jump into, a nice cool place
to sleep, and lots of food to eat. FIDO KNOWS he is okay right here and now. He does not worry about where his next meal is
coming from, whether it will be hotter tomorrow or not, or if he has enough cashflow to get into the local swimming hole!
He is just fine as he is! I encourage you to be in the moment with FIDO. Remember, you will have 1,440 glorious minutes TODAY!

"If you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas!" The meaning of this can most certainly be taken literally, however, what it is truly meant by this statement is that if
you become involved with bad company, there will be negative consequences. In other words, this idiom asserts that human failings,
such as dishonesty and foolishness, are contagious.
What does FIDO know that you do not?
FIDO KNOWS that he is either the alpha dog or he is not and accepts
fully and resolutely his position in the pack. He lives his life fully expressing himself with delight, fullness, and richness,
wherever he is at the moment. He doesn't worry about whether he has fleas or not, or whether he will pass them along to
someone else. FIDO KNOWS that he is perfectly okay just the way he is, no need to "keep up with the Joneses" or
live the life of any other dog.

WHAT FIDO KNOWS ABOUT MONEY MAY SURPRISE YOU! "You
Can't Teach An Old Dog New Tricks!" This is something that you say which means it is difficult to
make someone change the way they do something when they have been doing it the same way for a long time.
What
does FIDO know that you do not?
FIDO KNOWS that old dogs learn
new tricks too! He knows that age has nothing to do with it. It's all a matter of passion and motivation. If you want
it bad enough, you'll learn it! AND when it comes to your money, FIDO KNOWS that no matter how old you are, money matters
can be learned and behaviors changed.

WHAT FIDO KNOWS ABOUT MONEY MAY SURPRISE YOU! "Every
dog has its day" We use this idiom to talk about how every person has a time in their
life when they are successful and in a good state. We often use this one when a person has been unsuccessful or a failure
at something for a long time, and then they suddenly prosper and overcome this previously negative situation. What does FIDO know that you do not? Fido is ALWAYS having a great day. Even when it appears the worst, he is present
to every moment and perfectly okay with it all. He LOVES every moment and waits for nothing. Today is the only day for him.
How about you? Do you find yourself thinking that SOME DAY you'll have your day? Many of us do. We believe
that tomorrow is the day ... that's when it will all fall into place and life, money, and our surroundings will be perfect.
LEARN from FIDO ... today IS the day. Enjoy it now!

WHAT FIDO KNOWS ABOUT MONEY MAY SURPRISE YOU!
"Barking up the wrong tree." Have you ever wondered where that saying
came from? Me too! The phrase was apparently originally used in a book back in 1832 based on the behavior of hunting dogs,
barking at the bottom of trees where they mistakenly thought their quarry was hiding. In other words, it's making a mistake
or an assumption in something you are trying to achieve, or looking for something in the wrong place. What
does FIDO know that you do not?Fido is simply having FUN, doing what dogs do. And it matters not that the prey isn't in
the tree. It is the chase, the journey that excites them and if the MONEY is not in the tree, they have had the greatest fun
anyway! How about you? Are you aware when you are "barking up the wrong tree?" When you are racing
after that great DEAL or bargaining for a discount are you having FUN, aware that the prey is not even up that tree? And maybe,
just maybe you spent money you did not have to spend just to have fun ... so PLAN your money adventures, and you will find
that you rarely experience "barking up the wrong tree!"

WHAT FIDO KNOWS ABOUT MONEY MAY SURPRISE YOU! "The
Tail Wagging the Dog!" If you describe a situation as the tail wagging the dog, you
mean that the least important part of a situation has too much influence over the most important part. What
does FIDO know that you do not? "Chasing your tail gets you nowhere ... 'cept back to where
you started" Most dog owners have watched as their dog suddenly and for no apparent reason, notices the long appendage
attached to that canine rear end. The dog glares at the offending tail for a moment and then goes after it in a great whirling
production that often ends up with the dog in a pile on the floor with the tail in his mouth. Mission accomplished. FIDO KNOWS that the mission in the first place was to repeat behaviors that are rewarding. And yet, how many of us HUMANS
do things that are unrewarding with our money and repeat them anyway? As well as ignore when something IS rewarding? Learn
what FIDO KNOWS. Repeat those behaviors that feel good and give a great reward!!
